Charleston Eco Jewelry
Pam Mecke designs jewelry from ethical and sustainable resources.
Most of her creations are made from the dried seedpod of a rainforest palm tree which is known as tagua or vegetable ivory. She uses tagua in it's natural state and/or transforms the color using organic dyes to create her beautiful and unique pieces. Some indigenous people of South America used tagua to represent the feminine because of its great magnetic like romantic energy.
